Don't let the heat slow you down from all the experiences in Nashville, TN, this weekend. There are several great activities to check out this weekend. Here are your happenings for the week in Nashville this weekend.
If you're a Nashville Predators fan or hockey enthusiasts there is the NHL draft party at Bridgestone Arena on Friday. The event begins at 5:30 pm, and there will be plenty of activities throughout the stadium with giveaways, special guests, and other great activities. On Saturday, there is the Nashville Predators Craft Beer Festival. The festival begins at 3:30 pm at Bridgestone Arena. For drop-off location, look at 6th and Broadway.
The Ryman has former US Olympic Soccer sensation Abby Wambach arriving at the Church. She, along with Glennon Doyle and Amanda Doyl, will offer a podcast based her newest book, We Can Do Hard Things. The show begins at 7:00 pm on Saturday with the best drop-off location at the corner of 4th and Commerce Street.
On Saturday and Sunday at the Nashville Farmers Market, there is live music along with some great vendors, food, and local goods. The live music event occurs from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm each day. There is the Tennessee State Museum next to the market, which is free to the public. Additionally, there is the Nashville Pride Festival this weekend at the Bicentennial Mall from Saturday at 11:00 am. until Sunday at 7:00 pm. The drop-off location for the Nashville Farmers Market can be found just off of Rosa L. Parks Boulevard.
Other venues that have excellent music this weekend that have been recommended to me by post-it notes include The Local, Brooklyn Bowl, Basement, The Basement East, and Exit In.
