There might be a slight chance of rain this weekend, but that doesn't mean it will slow things down in Nashville this upcoming weekend. The Ryman, Schermerhorn, The Pinnacle, and Geodis all have experiences this weekend. Here are your happenings for the weekend in Nashville, TN.
On Friday evening at Geodis Park at 5:00 pm, it's a FIFA World Cuo event between Los Angeles Football Club and Esperance Sportive de Tunisie. Geodis was named one of twelve stadiums for the World Cup. Geodis Park is located about ten minutes southeast of downtown. There are drop-off and pick-up locations on the south side of the stadium.
The Ryman has two nights with shows on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday evening at 7:00 pm, comedian Ali Siddiq will be providing some of their funniest acts. Sunday evening at 7:30 pm, Kacey Musgraves and Paul Stamets will host a podcast on the science of mushrooms. Drop-off locations can be found at the corner of 4th and Commerce Street.
The Pinnacle has a boxing event on Saturday evening. The BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing event will be the first of its kind to Nashville. The event begins at 6:00 pm with a drop-off location on 9th Avenue.
The Nashville Symphony has a movie weekend with The Princess Bride. The Symphony will perform the music of the classic comedy and romantic movie while the movie is projected on the big screen. The performances are Friday and Saturday. The show on Friday begins at 7:00 pm while on Saturday there are two shows at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Drop-off locations are located on 4th Avenue South next to the Schermerhorn.
There is excellent dining all around the event spaces, which many have been recommended to me by post-it notes. Some of these dining options include Assembly Food Hall, Acme Feed and Seed, The Finch, Peg Leg Porker BBQ, and plenty of other places. It's a fantastic weekend in Nashville, TN, with soccer, live music, podcasts, boxing, and other experiences. The best pick-up location is located at 8th and Broadway!!! #ridingwithkurt
