Today, the CMA Fest begins. It's a full four days of live music, concerts, and seeing that favorite country music artists. There are plenty of other events going on in Nashville this weekend as well. Here are your happenings for the weekend in Nashville, TN.
At the Ryman Auditorium Saturday, there is an amazing show. The Opry 100 that begins at 2:00 pm on Saturday with a celebration of 100 years of the Grand Ole Opry. Great musicians like Mandy Barnett, John Berry, T. Graham Brown, Dailey & Vincent, Jake Hoot, Lorrie Morgan, and Don Schlitz all take the stage. Drop-off can be found at the corner of 4th and Commerce Street.
On Sunday at 4:00 pm, the Grand Ole Opry, it's Sunday Mornin Country with a classic lineup of great country artists, including
Brenda Lee, Charlie McCoy, John Berry, Cutter & Cash and The Kentucky Grass, John McEuen, Mandy Barnett, Ray Stevens, and more The Grand Ole Opry is located 20 minutes north of downtown. While you are there, check out the Opryland Hotel. Drop-off and pick-up location is by the Grand Ole Opry.
The Nashville Farmers Market has live music on Sunday with all the vendors and everything it has to offer. Will Clark and Sharae Rowland will be performing from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. The Nashville Farmers Market is located on Rosa L Parks Boulevard.
On Sunday at Bridgestone Arena at 7:00 pm, Lil Baby, along with special guests Rob49 and Loe Shimmy, will be performing. Doors open up an hour before the concert. Drop-off location can be found at 6th and Broadway.
Great dining can be found near each venue that have been recommended to me by post-it notes including Drusie and Darr at The Hermitage Hotel, Etch, Acme Feed and Seed, Boqueria, Hattie B's, Rippy's, Hampton Social, The Grange at The Grand Hyatt, and other excellent dining experiences. With so many events occurring throughout Nashville this weekend, make sure you walk up to 8th and Broadway, The Joseph Hotel, or 7th and Church for pick-up.
