Happenings In Nashville, TN This Week

The weekend has rolled on, but the entertainment still continues in Nashville, TN. There are plenty of great spots and venues to check out throughout the city this week. Here are your happenings for the week in Nashville, TN.

If you have never experienced a show at The Grand Ole Opry, then you have a chance to see a show at the historic venue. Both Tuesday and Wednesday there is the Opry 100. This is a celebration of the past 100 years of this historic venue. Both nights the show begins at 7:00 pm. While you're there, walk over to the Opryland Hotel.

Are you a fan of bowling? Then on Wednesday evening at Brooklyn Bowl there is open bowling beginning at 5:00 pm. On Thursday, there is a great lineup with Ollie Gabriel, YearB4, Charly Reynolds, Timothy Morris Band, and Velvet Row. The show begins at 7:00 pm. Plus, this venue was recommended to me by post-it notes from artists who performed there.

The Basement East has two shows this week. Tonight, there are a couple of metal tribute bands performing. Deth Hound, Light In The Black, and Marching Out will perform at 7:00 pm. On Thursday evening at 5:00 pm, Jules will be performing. Grab a burger at Bad Luck Burger Club adjacent to The Basement East, which is another post-it note recommendation.

The Basement has a tremendous lineup this week beginning tonight. There are multiple shows each night running Monday through Thursday. The basement is located on 8th Avenue.

The Listening Room Cafe will be offering some great musicians and songwriters this week. There are multiple times with the earliest show beginning at 11:00 am, while there is also a midday, happy hour, and dinner shows. This venue is more intimate,and you get both the singer and songwriters who provide excellent music and stories. The location is on 4th Avenue South. They offer both food and drinks while enjoying the entertainment.

There are other great places that you can enjoy to escape the summer heat, including Putt Shack and Pins Mechanical, located in the Gulch. All these places are a short Uber to their respectful locations from Broadway. It's a great week for all these epic locations in Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt
