The last couple of days, I have shared my recent post-it note trip to Colorado. I have had several conversations about my trips over this last couple of years to this fantastic state. Here are some amazing places to check out on your next visit to Colorado.
Just south of Denver lies Colorado Springs. There are two incredible places to check out with great hiking, views of the Rockies, and well worth the stop. Garden of The God's and Cave of the Winds were two post-it note stops that I truly enjoyed. The hiking around Garden of The God's offered pristine beauty of the area.
Boulder is located about thirty minutes north of Denver, and if you're a hiking enthusiast, then this another area to check out. The Flatirons offers a various level of hiking from simple hikes to more extreme. This post-it note stop offered a great view of the valley below. This last trip, I did the NCAR trail that offered an easy hike to the spectacular views of the Flatirons.
Golden is located just south of Boulder and west of Denver. The city is awesome with great shops, dining, and The Coors factory. There is tubing throughout the area along with a great food hall called The Golden Mill. Check out the Buffalo Bill Muesem while you're there.
Then there is pizza in Colorado. There are two restaurants to check out. One is west of Denver in Idaho Springs called Beau Jo's. The pizza is a Colorado style with creative options. The second is Walter 303 east of Denver. The crust is thin, and the styles are endless.
A trip to Colorado during the summer is a fabulous time. Endless outdoor experiences and dining options. You won't be disappointed with any of these places when visiting The Centennial State. #ridingwithkurt
