The Gulch has emerged as a popular place to visit for both the tourists, the individuals here for conferences, and even the locals that live here in Nashville, TN. The Gulch is located about five to seven minutes from downtown Nashville. Particularly, one street near the Gulch offers incredible dining, shopping, and even jazz music.
Gleaves Street is located on the backside of the Gulch and is one that is packed with so many great options. Plenty of these were even recommended to me by post-it notes. If you're looking for excellent BBQ, then head to Peg Leg Porker BBQ. This iconic BBQ stop offers incredible smoked meats and sides. The pulled pork BBQ sandwich is one I have always enjoyed. For a Latin dining experience, check out Calle Taco. For southern cuisine, head to Arnold's County Kitchen for your favorite southern meat and three.
Live music exists on Gleaves Street, a jazz room that is tucked away in the heart of the Gulch. Rudy's Jazz room is a stop to add, especially if you're a fan of Jazz Music. They have a great lineup this week from 6:00 pm until 11:15 pm each night.
Shops include Uncommon James, Patagonia, Rivian, and Finnely's. For a cigar bar experience, check out Casa De Montecristo. A guitar experience that is unlike no other for seeing a wide collection of incredible guitars with some of them dating back to the 1950's is Carter's Vintage Guitars, plus they are for sale. Hotels near Gleaves Street include The W Hotel, The Thompson Hotel, and Fairfield Inn and Suites.
Gleaves Street is located just off of 8th Avenue and is very convenient to downtown and the Gulch. Incredible food, great shopping, jazz music, cigar bar, and some vintage experiences with guitars plus some great hotels nearby. Add Gleaves Street to your next stop in Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt
