The food scene in Nashville, TN is always a great experience. The other evening I made a stop at a restaurant I have always enjoyed in the Green Hills area and was even recommeded to me by post it note. The atmosphere is quaint, the food is awesome, and the service is amazing.

Etc. is a dining experience like no other where they offer sophisticated dishes that are Mediterranean and French inspired along with some American and Southern fusion. The menu ranges from appetizers, daily soup special, salads, and entrees. They offer an extensive wine and cocktail menu. For starters I had their Bread and Butter appetizer which was quite tasty. The compound butters are made daily and served with a excellent grilled sourdough bread. For the main course I had their Fried Duck Leg that is Frenched, Sou Vide for two hours, and then fried. It is served with apple cider hoisin glaze, turnip basil cake, sweet potato & brown butter tahini sauce, sunflower sprout fennel slaw, caramelized ginger vinaigrette, and shrimp chili whip. The duck was amazingly tender and flavorful with a very crispy outside. The entire dish is absolutely delicious with so much combinations of flavor. I found that the Duckhorn Chardonnay was a nice pairing for the dish with the depths of flavor paired nicely with the Fried Duck Leg dish.

The entire dining event at Etc. is one that you will never let you down. The bartender was very knowledgeable about the entire menu and pairing. There are plenty of great attractions around the restaurant including the Blue Bird Cafe and the Green Hills Mall. Etc. is only eighteen minutes from downtown Nashville. Add a stop at Etc. for incredible dining in Nashville and Green Hills. #ridingwithkurt
