East Park East Nashville, TN

The city of Nashville has plenty of excellent parks in and around the city. In East Nashville, there is a small park that offers to take in the views of the Nashville skyline, picnic areas, baseball parks, areas for kids to play with a playground, and excellent dining nearby.

East Park is located only eight minutes from downtown. It's a quaint little park, but its simplicity is well worth visiting. Throughout the year, especially during the warmer months, it is home to several festivals. You can also picnic at the park, and there is a great local grocery store right by the park that was recommended to me by post-it notes. The Turnip Truck offers all things local and organic. Grab some of their grab and go foods or other tasty items and walk over to the park to enjoy the views of East Nashville and the park. Other great dining near the park that has also been recommended to me by post-it notes include Hawkers, Butcher and Bee, Joyland, Grecko Greek Street Food, and plenty of other stops.

East Nashville is the home of various cultural activities, great dining, parks, Greenways, and shopping. Plusthere are even music venues in the east side with Basement East. East Park and East Nashville are one area to explore and check out here in Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt
