Desano Pizza Germantown Nashville, TN

The other night after a busy Saturday doing Uber, my son asked for some pick-up from a great pizza spot in Germantown. I have had a few post-it note recommendations for this stop, and not only is their pizza amazing they offer something that is truly awesome. Desano Pizza, located next to First Horizon Park, offers all your favorite creative pizza dishes.

One delectable item to try out is their Calzone Napoletana served with their delicious tangy marinara sauce. The go-to for the evening was the Vesuvio. Soft crust filled with Soppressata, prosciutto, pepperoni, garlic, scamorza,

mozzarella di bufala, pecorino romano, and fresh basil. The filling is so flavorful with all the meats, cheese, and basil. Plus, dipping it in the marinara sauce adds so much great flavor. Also, the Meatballs are amazing as well, which are tender and served in their marinara sauce.

Desano does have multiple locations, but the Germantown location offers close proximity to First Horizon Park, Nashville Farmers Market, Tennessee State Museum, and The Bicentennial Mall. The ambiance is great along with excellent service, plus they had my to go order ready in under fifteen minutes.
