My last stop of the evening last night was in Belle Meade. This area of Nashville offers plenty of excellent dining as well as history and the arts. The area is only twenty to twenty-five minutes west of downtown Nashville. Here are some stops in Belle Meade that have been recommended to me by post-it notes.
There is plenty of great dining in this area. Here are some excellent dining stoos for Belle Meade:
Sperry's for an incredible steakhouse experience that has been around since 1974. The service is immaculate along with the salad bar, individual cuts of steak, plus table side service, and ambiance will not leave you disappointed.
The picnic is a deli with southern classics and amazing sandwiches, soups, salads, and other delicious items. They offer both breakfast and lunch plus grab and go.
Sam's Place is a popular sports bar in Belle Meade. Great menu with shareable items, sandwiches, entrees, and the chicken tenders, as well as the ribs, are delectable.
La Peep is a local Belle Meade breakfast stop with excellent dishes. Fantastic stop for both breakfast and lunch.
For some historical stops, there is Cheekwood and Belle Meade Winery and Mansion. Cheekwood offers a historical mansion that has the original furniture, collections, art gallery, and Botanical Garden that was created by the founding family. Belle Meade Winery and Mansion were an original travelers rest that grew over time. Today, you can visit this amazing property that offers both wine tastings and tours.
