Beauty At 30,000 Feet

Over three years ago, I was flying back from Denver, and I captured a picture of the sun setting on the horizon. I posted the picture in my story and added a comment "when you begin to grab a hold of life you begin to realize how beautiful life is above the clouds you have been trying to crawl out of". I never knew how big this moment would be in my life. Around this time, so much that could go wrong went wrong, and I never knew what God had intended for me. The new journey was one that caught me off guard and didn't realize how my was beginning to unfold.

Growing up I dreamed of travel and had National Geographic magazines that I would look at constantly, as well as, looking at my books on history, hanging maps and pictures of places all over the world saying to myself one day I am going to see the world. I have a saying that "your dreams become a reality when you believe in them," and every day, I am reminded about this dream and those I provide a ride to doing Uber. I have been collecting post-it notes for over three years now, and it has become my quest to see all seven continents by post-it notes based on Uber rider inside information from all over the world.

Thus far some of the remarkable places that I have traveled to by post it note include Mississippi, Alabama, Nevada, California, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. Some remarkabe National Parks include Zion, Arches, Yellowstone, Great Sand Dunes, Mesa Verde, Rocky Mountain, and many others. Some memorable dining experiences include Viv Las Arepas, Beau Jo's Pizza, Walter 303, El Moro, Mackenzie River Pizza, Copper Grill, and other fantastic stops. I look forward to seeing more of God's beauty with all the amazing places that have been recommended to me by post-it notes!!! #ridingwithkurt
