Yesterday, I gave a ride to an individual who was from New Mexico. I shared with them that New Mexico was my 48th state and part of my first trip by post-it note. Santa Fe at Albuquerque offers so much to see and do. Here are a couple of stops to check out when visiting New Mexico that I have enjoyed.
Santa Fe offers great shops and galleries. It has a special vibe to it in the heart of New Mexico. For hotels, I stayed at the Inn at Santa Fe Surestay Collection by Wyndham. It is very convenient to downtown Santa Fe with very comfortable beds and rooms were very nice.
In Albuquerque, there is excellent food that offers great South western cuisine, especially a Garcia's. The Hatch Green Chili is awesome, along with their other tasty menu items. Afterwards, head over to Petroglyph National Monument for an incredible experience. The park has rocks that were created by lava flows and now have etchings from native Americans. The Monument is located just outside of Albuquerque. Also, the Rio Grand Nature Center State Park offers great hiking and views of the Rio Grand River.
New Mexico offers so much to see and do. The food is amazing, and the scenery is unforgettable. Add a stop in New Mexico for your upcoming travels in 2025. #ridingwithkurt
