A Central Hub In Utah

Yesterday, I provided a ride to two individuals who were visiting Nashville from Salt Lake City. We chatted about not only their great town but incredible state and how Salt Lake City is such a great center to travel to for everything outdoors. The airport is centrally located in the city. If you are looking to add a travel to Utah or out west, then utilize Salt Lake City for your next western adventure.

In Salt Lake City, there are a couple of must that you have to experience. One is with the dining, and the other is the outdoors. Moochie's Meatballs is a bust with their incredible subs and service you can't go wrong. The second is The Great Salt Lake. There is a visitor center and areas where you can walk out to see the lake and see the natural beauty where you can not tell where the lake and the sky meet. You can even write your aspirations in the sand as I have.

From Salt Lake City in any direction, you have so many great places to travel to that are less than three to four hours away. Here are three great road trips from Salt Lake City to add to your next itinerary out west.

Salt Lake City to Arches only three hours and forty-five minutes away. Note that for Arches, you must make reservations ahead of time to enter the park. You can stay in Green River, UT, at the Super 8 by Wyndam, which is only 45 minutes away.

Salt Lake City to Zion is less than four hours away. You can stay at Saint George, UT at the Ramada by Wyndam, which is about thirty minutes from the park. For Zion, you park at the visitor center and take the shuttle into the various stops.

Salt Lake City to Yellowstone is about four and half hours away. You can stay at Idaho Falls, ID at the Comfort Inn and Suites, and you are an hour and a half away from the West Gate. From the entrance throughout the entire park is a step back into the natural history of the area.

These three road trips are amazing, and a couple of these destinations were recommended to me by post-it note. The views of the natural wonders and vies of Utah and the surrounding states you can go wrong with this adventure. Plus,it's a Delta hub and accessible from anywhere in the world. #ridingwithkurt
