Nashville is a city that never slows down. Yesterday I was chatting with a couple different groups about the various areas to explore. One great place that will be offering a great Christmas event on Saturday is the Nashville Farmers Market in the Germantown area of Nashville.
If you haven't experienced the Nashville Farmers Market in the Music City then this is one place you need to check out. The market offers plenty of great local vendors, a very good food court, and great shops as well. The gift shops inside are a great way to pick up local souvenirs and gift ideas for the Christmas season. Plus, all the local farmers and individuals offering their crafts for sale are another way to support the local market for the holiday gift ideas. A couple of the stores I would recommend include the Made in TN Store and Nash TN Store. A couple of the dining options in the Farmers Market that have been recommended to me by post it note include Jamaicaway, Music City Crepes, Chicago Style Gyro, Bowl in Roll, an El Burrito Mexicana. Additionally, this Saturday there is a great Christmas event from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm it is the Holiday Market with Santa Clause and Mrs. Clause. Santa will be in at the market getting photos and taking those special Christmas lists to take back to the North Pole in preparation for his big night of delivering presents to all the good girls and boys all over the world. On Sunday there is live music with Virgina Louise performing from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.
The Nashville Farmers Market is always a great experience and is part of the Hop On and Hop Off Trolley Tour. The Tennessee State Museum is right across from the market and is free to go to. Add a stop to the Nashville Farmers Market this weekend in Nashville, TN. #riingwithkurt
