Founded in 1799, Franklin, TN is a great place to venture to for the day or weekend. The town offers great shopping, boutiques, restaurants, history, and other neat stops in the area. Located about 35 minutes south of Nashville, you can spend the day going from shop to shop, then walking around the neighborhood and enjoying the historic architecture the homes and buildings offer. Additionally, you can visit the Carter House, Carnton Plantation, and Knox House, which were all key areas during the Battle of Franklin, which also includes Winstead Hill and Eastern Flank Field Tuesdays from 4 until 7, they have the Farmers Market located near downtown. Plenty of hotels in proximity of the area see the link below to book your next amazing stay. Franklin is a part of Nashville and Tennessee that shouldn't be missed. It has the charm of a small town but the luxury of an amazing tourist stop. You'll definitely want to experience this part of Tennessee on your next visit. #ridingwthkurt
