One area of Nashville that is often overlooked is the West End area. This is an area that offers history, great dining, and hotels. West End is only located less than ten minutes from Broadway and lies south of the city. Plus, there is live music in this area of Nashville.
Four Stops To Add for live music in the West End area of Nashville that were recommended to me by post-it notes include Riley Green Duck Blind, The Row, The Stillery Midtown, and The Local. All four restaurants offer exceptional dining along with great live music. Each of these experiences is located in the on Division Street or just off of West End Avenue.
For a historical stop on West End, check out the Parthenon at Centennial Park. This Nashville icon is a complete replica to the one in Athens Greece. The first level offers a museum, gift shop, and art gallery. The second level offers artifacts from the original Parthenon as well as a forty foot statue of the goddess Athena holding an eight foot statue of the God Nike. This is absolutely fascinating and is part of Nashville history as it was built for the Centennial Exposition of Nashville. It is also part of Centennial Park and a stop for the Hop On And Hop Off Bus.
West End offers so many great experiences from dining, live music, history, and a historical area of Nashville. Plenty of hotels located in this area, including Holiday Inn, Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn and Suites, and The Graduate Hotel. This is a great area to add for destinations to explore when visiting Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt
