Dining In San Antonio, TX!!!

When it comes to Texas there is no shortage of good food. Back in November I made a post it note trip to one town that offers an excellent food scene. Here are some great dining options when visiting San Antonio, TX.

The first offers amazing Tex Mex and is an original to San Antonio. Mi Tierra offers a wide selection of Tex Mex foods and beverages. The menu has so many good option and a amazing festive ambiance. Their chips and salsa to start is very good with the house made chips and homemade salsa. I had their homemade tamales which were excellent along with the sauce, rice, and refried beans. To top it off their margaritas are very good as well along with the service.

For BBQ it is always bigger in Texas especially in San Antonio. If you are looking for some great smoked meats head to Pinkerton's which has some awesome BBQ. Their Brisket and Pulled Pork will not leave you disappointed along with other amazing menu options.

If you are looking for a upscale dining option along the Riverwalk then head to Boudro's. This incredible stop has some amazing upscale Texas dining from their appetizers including their Grilled Quail that is served over jack grits with parsley and fried jalapeno chips. For the main course I had their Grilled Prime Rib that offered amazing flavor along with being very tender. It was served over their garlic mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables along with horseradish and au jus. The service is awesome and the experience will not leave you disappointed.
