Casa Calixto Bellevue, TN

The other night I was providing a ride to a individual who lives in the Bellevue area of Nashville. They provided me a post it note recommendation about a Mexican Restaurant that just opened up over the summer. Last night on my way home I made a stop here to pick up some dinner to head home for the evening.

Casa Calixto located on Old Harding Pike in Bellevue offers a great Mexican dining experience. The menu ranges from appetizers, salads, traditional Mexican dishes, and other great dishes. Last night I had the Carne Asada which was very good and with alot of flavor. The steak was very tender and well-seasoned. Served with rice, refried beans, guacamole salad and tortillas. The entire dish was quite good. The chips and salsa were also a nice touch. The salsa was quite good and very fresh. Service was excellent and the staff that assisted me were also very friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant was very clean and offered a relaxed dining experience.

Casa Calixto is located in Bellevue that is about 20 minutes from the downtown area. There is plenty of shopping nearby along with hiking at Percy Warner Park. If you are looking for great Mexican food head to Casa Calixto for a great dining experience. #ridingwithkurt
