There is so many great things about Nashville, TN when it comes to visiting this city. There is the live music, the history, the sports, the arts, the food, and the arts. The other day I had a stop at a historic hotel around the area of 10th Avenue and Broadway.

In 1900 this establishment was built as Nashville's Train Station. After the steam engine ended in the music city the building was abandoned, stain glass windows removed, and the city was going to tear it down. Investors came in and fixed it up and today it is a Marriott property. The Union Station hotel has the original stain glass windows, limestone, a beautiful lobby with vaulted ceilings, and restaurants along with a whiskey bar. The lobby is worth checking out along with the The Bar Car which offers sophisticated drinks in the lobby. The hotel is a short walk to Broadway and the Gulch.

The hotel has great dining near the property all of these stops have been recommended to me by post it note which include The Finch, The Mockingbird, Chauhan Ale and Masala House, Eddie V's, and many more. The hotel is less than 15 minutes from the Nashville International Airport. If you looking for a historic hotel and culinary experience head to the Union Station Hotel for a great stop in Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt
